Since the federal government is furloughing people for x-number of days, which is so many days without pay, are they going to do the same thing with the congressmen and senators? I think this should be an area to look into. Their pay is coming from somewhere — I’m sure a lot of it is coming out of the federal budget.

It’s amazing how many adults cannot read a sign that says no soliciting. They ring the door bell and still want to show their products.

This is in response to the poor, uninformed person who called into Sound off about the president’s vacations. Bush took 215 personal days in his entire eight years. Obama took 84 golf days last year.

Is anyone else sick of reading about the president’s vacation time? Has it ever occurred to you that while most workers get two-day weekends most weeks, presidents past and present may work several weeks on end without a day off? Also, calling Sound off in Hinesville, Ga., isn’t going to change things. You want change? Start a WhiteHouse.gov petition and promote it online.
