In reference to the caller about the public high schools can’t get the best players because the private schools are getting free scholarships: Maybe if the public school coaches cared enough about the players to help them further careers, further their lives in college, then maybe they could retain the players in the public schools. And with that said, Liberty County High School Panthers: When are you going to get a new high school basketball coach?

I just read Ms. Tucker’s letter to the editor about her children crying in the restaurant. I am very sorry that her children are disabled like that, but I, for one, when I go to a restaurant, I cannot stand crying children or disobedient children running around being obnoxious. Me and my husband are the type that will get up and leave a restaurant if that’s going on. I feel for her, but with times and money the way they are, whenever I go out to a nice restaurant or anywhere to eat, I like to eat in peace.
