The police departments in Liberty County should have crime maps and stats on their Web sites. The sites are very dated with no crime information listed. Is the county trying to hide how much crime there is here?

Why in the world would we furlough teachers for three days because the board and state are out of money, but vote to pay insurance for board members and their spouses?

Concerning the food stamp call at convenience store, using change to buy beer: You don’t get change on food stamps anymore. It’s a card system. If the store gives change the store is the one breaking the law.

The person complaining about a late notice for their water bill needs to read their bill. There’s a disconnect date on there. The city shouldn’t spend more money to give more notice.
