Here are some of the issues area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not  vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

 

Walmart must think we live in the middle of a desert. We live 20 minutes from the coast and lifejackets are considered seasonal items. That’s about the dumbest thing Walmart has ever done.

Concerning Amendment 2 on next week’s ballot: Why would the trauma charge not be charged on every motor vehicle licensed by the state of Georgia?

Heaven and Hell are there for you no matter what race you are. Democrat or Republican, you are accepted in those places.

This is to the caller who’s worried about my lawn being too high and dragging your value down: If you’re so ashamed by it, why not come on over and mow my grass?

If all the politicians speak the truth about their opponents, are any of them worth being elected? We shouldn’t vote for none of them if what they say is true.

It’s time for us to be like Moses and see why the bush is on fire.
