I have a child graduating from Liberty County High School, and I’m very disappointed to hear that their graduation is on Thursday night. Relatives cannot make that coming from out of town. I think the new superintendent needs to move it back to Saturday morning. It’s time for the seniors and their parents to have a say in this matter. The football field was named by one person, and now one or two are doing it again to our kids. Wake up, Liberty County.

All active-duty and retired military need to ask your kids for their history book and read it. They’re teaching kids that the military was bad in the wars, and also, the math, they don’t have to get the answers, just as they know the way to get there. Common Core is terrible. They’re making our kids illiterate.

Help. I’m doing fall cleaning now, and I have lots of CDs, DVDs, VHSs and covers that I need to get rid of. Is there somewhere I can take them other than Goodwill?

I don’t understand what is wrong with the street cleaner coming at 4:30 in the morning. I think it’s a great thing — less traffic on the road and everything. Could someone please tell us what’s wrong with the street cleaner coming at 4:30 in the morning?  

Just curious, in the paper you have LCSO. I have trouble determining whether that’s Liberty County Sheriff’s Office or Long County Sheriff’s Office. Could you make it a little bit clearer? Without some of the addresses, nobody knows. (Editor’s note: It’s Liberty.)
