Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not know if they are true, nor what motivated the callers:

A high-end residential district is not the place for a band festival with three bands playing until late at night. It is not fair to people who paid thousands and thousands to live in a quiet neighborhood.

To the person who stated that single harlots are trying to steal your husband, I so agree with you. These single women are so desperate and have no morals. They don’t realize that’s why they are not married.

We got a cop in Walthourville saying he wants to run for mayor. But he can’t even keep his house out of foreclosure so what type of mayor would he be?

To the person in Walthourville letting your dogs out early in the morning, please stop. They are terrorizing my cat and tearing up my screen porch.

Some advice: If you’re married, be true to your husband. Don’t cheat on him and post pictures over the Internet.

I just watched Katt Williams, an African-American comedian, on Comedy Central last night and he said the nastiest things about President Bush and got standing ovations for it. But, yet, one comment about President Obama and we’re labeled racist. Hypocrisy, Google it.
