Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity nor what motivated the callers:

 

I wonder if the person who monitored whether an assistant principal did their job for a whole year is one of the board office secretaries who can be seen regularly playing computer games, doing their Bible study or talking in the lobby? If not, we must be paying for hidden cameras somewhere.

Liberty County doesn’t need to build more schools. Fort Stewart needs to build a new middle school and high school on post and keep the burden
of the tax increase off us.
Good grief, Wednesday caller, even the president deserves a vacation. Don’t you take one? Give the man a break.

Wednesday at about 11:30 a.m. I got my flu shot at Kroger. It cost $25 and I was in and out, no waiting. Real nice.

I used to think there was poor customer service in Hinesville because nobody knew how to give good service. After some research though I realize it’s the people being rude to those in retail who have to deal with public. They just give as good as they get.

Congratulations to the Liberty County Panthers. Keep up the good work. You did a good job in Brunswick, even though you lost.

The people who are complaining about the uniforms should look at all the kids and how nice you look. When you pick them up they all look so clean, neat and tidy.
