It appears that dirty politics have already started in Midway. Someone stole Mr.  Patel’s campaign banner, which was hanging on Butler Street. I wonder who took it? If anyone saw who took the banner, please call the Midway police.

If you lost a calculator at Kroger about a month ago, they have it at the customer-service desk. Just go by and identify it and pick it up.

Lyman Hall Elementary had a wonderful Freedom Walk today on Sept. 11. We had many guests and supporters. I just wish that our esteemed Dr. Lee, superintendent of schools, had actually been watching when the American flag was raised instead of texting on her phone. Wonderful example for me, the parent.

The reason I’m calling is recently on TV, I’ve been upset with some stuff I’ve seen. They keep advertising the Al-Jazeera American network, wanting to put news on American TV channels. I thought Al-Jazeera was a Middle East news unit that was for the countries in the Middle East. I don’t think they have any business trying to get into our TV and have an avenue to insert their beliefs into our lives. I don’t know what the FCC is allowing them to do this for.
