Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned anonymously, so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:


What does it say about a person who judges a race of people by what a couple of individuals wear?
We tried this thing with 18-year-olds drinking before and it didn’t work. So let’s leave it alone now.
When is Hinesville going to get some decent restaurants around here? The ones here are playing out. Why not bring back Golden Corral and Longhorn?
Is Liberty Transit going to move to a bigger office spot? These buses make Maple Drive congested at times.
America has been given a test. They did not pass it. Usually God opens the ground up or He sends down asteroids and flames of fire. I don’t know which He’s going to do, but American had better pray.

A note to our hardworking mail carriers: Mail-order meds go bad after hours of being in super-heated mailboxes. We need an RX stamp or symbol. Meanwhile, maybe you could beep your horns to alert us.
We all should be seeing what the word of God says about sin, not what the TV shows about sex.

In Long County, money talks and if you don’t have it, don’t even bother them. Just pay up and shut up. Anybody want to buy a farm?
I read about the Gay Pride Festival. They need to read the Bible to see what God said about their sinful lifestyle.
