Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

 

Why is it that gas stations around here are $2.65 for unleaded and Richmond Hill is $2.40? That’s a big difference.
 
I read about the Gay Pride Festival. They need to read the Bible to see what God said about their sinful lifestyle.

It’s quite evident there is a lot wrong with the Bradwell football team, especially since the kicking coach has left.
 
You know, just recently all the celebrity and stars that were cheating and got caught, it was put in the paper and it was public. What about the ordinary man, when he cheats? Would it be sufficient to expose him at his church or his job, or put it on a marquee?

I went to the grocery today and right in front there was a parking space that looked like somebody had cleaned out their car and just throwed all the trash, including the ashtray full of nasty cigarette butts, onto the parking lot. Do you do this at home? Be ashamed of yourself.

It is time the Midway people don’t have to go to Fleming to vote. We should be able to go to city hall to vote.
