212-mil yard sale culminates on Golden Isles

The sixth annual Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale is March 12-13, along U.S. Highway 341, the Golden Isles Parkway, in Georgia.
The 212-mile yard sale links peach-growing counties in middle Georgia to the beaches of Georgia’s Golden Isles, with community sites and individual sales along the way. In Brunswick, the event is organized by Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association in cooperation with the Brunswick Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and the Golden Isles Parkway Association. The sale is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. March 12-13 at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. March 13 at Mary Ross Waterfront Park.
The cost for a vendor space at the park is $30. In addition to the yard sale, there will be food vendors and antique dealers. The deadline to sign up for a space in Brunswick is March 5.
Other participating communities include Culloden, Roberta, Fort Valley, Perry, Hawkinsville, Eastman, Helena, McRae, Lumber City, Hazelhurst, Graham, Baxley, Surrency, Odum, Jesup, Brunswick and Jekyll Island.
