Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association is pleased to welcome Rob Denty back to the Golden Isles for the third concert in Jazz in the Park 2008, Sunday, July 13 from 7-9 p.m. at the St. Simons Lighthouse lawn. This Brunswick native has performed professionally with some of the great musicians of jazz and returns to home with his quartet for a crowd-pleasing set of standards and original tunes. Join us in welcoming back this master saxophonist, along with Cory Biggerstaff on bass, and Tim Mulvenna on drums.
Jazz in the Park 2008 features an exciting and eclectic mix of some of the finest jazz musicians throughout the Southeast. The open-air concerts are held on six Sunday evenings at high tide for maximum breeze and comfort. Bring a chair or blanket to relax on and a picnic supper and your favorite beverage - this is the summertime place to be, and a wonderful chance to gather with friends and other music lovers for the event that has achieved national recognition.
Admission to Jazz in the Park is still only $10 per person; ages 6-12 are $5 and kids under 6 get in free. Individual tickets are purchased at the gate only on the night of each concert.
