The MidCoast Regional Airport at Wright Army Airfield will host Aviation Day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. this Saturday.
“It’s an open house to let the community come out and see it,” said Mark Davidson, general manager of the MidCoast Regional Airport.
The event is free and open to the public and includes multiple static aircraft displays from the Coast Guard, military branches and civilian entities.
“We’re also going to be having discovery flights,” Davidson said. “So if you’ve never been flying, you can take a ride.”
Numerous pilots and other aviation experts will also be on-hand to field questions and give explanations.
