Those who can’t make it to the Savannah Book Festival next month will be able to catch it on TV for the first time. The 2012 Savannah Book Festival, set for Feb. 15-19, will be broadcast live C-SPAN/Book TV.
More than 40 author presentations will take place in and around Telfair Square in the heart of historic Savannah for the festival. Highlights include guest of honor Stephen King, keynote speaker Pat Conroy, thriller author Brad Thor and Walter Issacson, author of the bestselling biography “Steve Jobs.”
“We are very excited that the Savannah Book Festival will be broadcast by C-SPAN this year and delighted that they have recognized what a high profile event our festival has become,” said festival Executive Director Robin Gold.
