Gold party to help restore old school

The Save-the-School-Project for the old Dorchester School has set a gold and jewelry buying party for 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20.
Silpada Jewelry will be there to assess and buy gold and jewelry. And it will pay 10 percent of what it spends to the campaign.
Individuals at the party will also be able to deal with each other. If you can’t make it to the party, get someone to take in your valuables and representatives will call you with an offer.
The fundraiser’s hostesses are Julie Martin, Kathy Poole, Polly Martin. The school is a mile east of I-95’s Midway exit on Islands Highway.
