Golden Isles Arts and Humanities will open the sixth season of its Summer Classic Movies at the Ritz series at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at the Historic Ritz Theatre in Brunswick.
Opening night will be a sing-along edition of “Grease.”
Cartoons and other shorts begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by an all-ages “Grease” costume contest.
The feature will start at 7 p.m., with the lyrics for the movie’s songs projected on the screen.
Free popcorn will be available, and door prizes will be given out.
Other movies for the series are:
• “Jaws” at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19
• “Adam’s Rib” at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26
• “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2
• “The Music Man” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5
Admission to each show in the series is $5 per person.
The box office opens at 5 p.m. Thursdays and 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5.
