The health promotion teams from Fort Stewart and Winn Army Community Hospital are partnering with Liberty Regional Hospital and the health departments from Liberty and Long counties to host the Community Health Fair and Women’s Expo from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Shuman Recreation Center, 800 Tupelo Trail in Hinesville.

Events begin with a 3K fun run/walk followed by activities such as educational booths, games, Zumba, Tai Chi sessions, an introduction to Crossfit, a blood drive, car seat safety checks, CPR and defibrillator demonstrations, free facials, food and a fashion show. Children can participate in a hula hoop contest, the fire department smoke house and bounce houses.

This event is free and open to the public. The first 50 participants to register for the 3K fun run/walk will receive a free T-shirt.
