Liberty Fest events announced

The annual Liberty Fest is planned for July 20-21, and will feature arts and crafts, historical re-enactments, kayak races and more in Hinesville and around Sunbury on the coast.
An open car show is scheduled for July 20 at Bradwell Park in downtown Hinesville.
Registration will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. The cost is $20. Judging is set for 6:30-7:30 p.m. and awards will be presented at 8:30.
Door prizes will be given away, a 50/50 raffle is planned and there will be goody bags for the first 30 entrants.
Also on tap for the evening will be a street dance and DJ.
The next day, The Spotted Sea Trout Tournament starts at 6 a.m. with a captains meeting at 7 the night before at the Shrimp Docks in Sunbury.
Registration for the tournament costs $35 per person, with an additional $20 to compete in a Redfish Calcutta, and are due by 4 p.m. July 19.
Participants must have Georgia fishing licenses.
