The first annual Bikers for Paws to benefit for the Liberty Humane Shelter is set for Aug. 25. Bikers will start signing up at 8 a.m. at Liberty Cycle, 1165 E. Oglethorpe Hwy. in Hinesville.
The cost, which includes a meal, is $15 per hand, $5 additional hand, $25 per couple. First place will receive $300, second $200 and third $100.
There is also a $50 prize for the worst hand. There will be 50/50 tickets and T-shirts available for sale. The first bike out is at 9 a.m. and the last bike in will be at 2 p.m. Entrants will receive the route when they purchase their hands.
