Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield Morale, Welfare and Recreation will host The Semi-Annual Great MWR Post-Wide Yard Sale on April 26.
The sale will be at the Club Stewart parking lot on Fort Stewart, the Squires Sports Complex parking lot on Hunter, and many homes throughout post housing on both installations.
Treasures from across the globe will be for sale. This sale is an excellent opportunity to buy foreign treasures at low prices. The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  There is no fee to attend and the sale is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
Drivers without post decals will be asked to present current drivers' licenses, valid insurance cards and proofs of registration at the gate. Passengers over the age of 16 must also present picture IDs. Maps will be distributed directing visitors to the yard sales that are taking place in post housing.
Active duty military and family members, reserves, retirees, and Department of the Army civilians may sell at Club Stewart for $5 per space. Families who live in post housing who would like to hold a yard sale do not have to pay a fee, but must sign-up. The sale of weapons, food and retail items will not be allowed. Registration to sell may be completed at the Fort Stewart Sports Office or by calling (912) 767- 8238.
