Musician Bernard Rose returns to 2nd Thursday Night in the Park with a performance at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Bradwell Park as part of the Downtown Farmers Market.

The performance will be near the fountain in the park.

Rose, whose debut album was released in May 2010, will perform a selection of jazz, gospel, contemporary Christian and other music.

“We encourage everyone to bring their special someone and enjoy a dance beneath the trees at Bradwell Park to Bernard’s soul-filled jazz. He performed in 2011 and was a hit with our shoppers and farmers market family, and we are excited to have him back,” HDDA program assistant Katrina Sage said.

The market opens at 4 p.m. Thursdays and features produce and agricultural products from local growers.

The market draws 15-18 vendors each week and runs through October.
