Here are some of the issues area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously and have not been checked out to determine if they are true. The Courier also does not know what motivated the callers:

 

This is for the ladies on Fort Stewart and Liberty County. A camisole is to cover up a bra. You put it on under your shirt, over the bra. It's not a slip for the bottom. It's for the top.

If Mr. Quarterman can't fulfill his obligations due to a voluntary assignment he should step down and let someone else be appointed so county business can continue.

Hinesville needs to fix these potholes, manholes, that are in the middle of the road. They knock your front end out of alignment and that's dangerous.

America, wake up. We have been under God's judgment for nine years now. The time that knows us now, will know us no more. People get ready.

Come on people, wake up, do you want someone who's friends with terrorists as your next president? I don't.

Chivalry is still alive and well in Liberty County. I'm an older person and my vehicle would not start. A man who works for the post office tried to help, but that didn't work. A nice man in a gray vehicle fixed my problem, but in the meantime even the mayor of Gum Branch, a neighbor, drove all the way to Hinesville to assist me when I couldn't get in touch with a relative.
