Downtown Hinesville will come alive with music next week with two concerts sponsored by the Hinesville Area Arts Council.
The Restless Rebels will bring their dynamic bluegrass show to Bradwell Park on Thursday, April 24, from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra return to Main Street Park on Friday, April 25 for a 7 p.m. show.
Both concerts are free and the public is invited to attend. The Arts Council is working in conjunction with Georgia Cities Week and the Living It Up Downtown initiative.
Restless Rebels is a traditional bluegrass band from Jacksonville, but featuring Hinesville businessman Steve Adams.  Adams plays mandolin and sings lead and backup harmonies for the five-piece group.  The lunchtime concert is not just for downtown workers. Everyone is invited to bring a lunch and enjoy the free show. Tables and chairs will be available.
The April 25 show features Jeremy Davis and The Fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra in the Main Street Park (next to Coastal Bank) gazebo.  Davis and his eight-piece orchestra delighted a Hinesville audience last fall with their renditions of classics from Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Connick Jr., Tommy Dorsey and Duke Ellington. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic baskets for the show.  Refreshments will also be available for purchase.
The council is a group of local arts enthusiasts promoting arts in Liberty County. For more information, call John Crowley at 912-408-6150.
