St. Patrick's parade on Shellman Bluff

The seventh annual St. Patrick's Day Parade at Shellman Bluff will be on Saturday, March 15.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m., with registration and line-up beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge.
Advanced entry fee is a $25. The fee is $30 on the day of the parade. Four wheelers will be allowed in the parade only if they are pulling a float. Judges will walk the line-up at 10:15 a.m. to pick the best of the following categories; golf carts, floats, antiques, motorcycles and floatless. There will be an honorable mention for each place.
The fire department will award a special plaque for the volunteers' favorite. The judges will choose a grand prize for "best of theme" during the parade.
Bribes will be accepted.
Awards will be announced at 2 p.m. at the festivity grounds at Boating Sales and Service. Festivities will take place rain or shine.
All fees are considered donations to the volunteer fire departments of Shellman Bluff and Harris Neck. Checks should be made to "Friends of Shellman Bluff, Inc."
