A street dance to honor the troops and welcome home Joshua Porter is planned for 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday in Ludowici.

The dance will take place on McQueen Street near the police station and the train depot. The musical group Double Shot will perform and refreshments will be available for sale. The event is free and open to the public.
