The Telfair Museum of Art will hold a Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. In recognition of the tremendous sacrifices military personnel and their families make for our country every day, the Telfair would like to offer a small token of gratitude by hosting a special celebration in their honor. During this day of food, activities and fine art, service members - including veterans - and their immediate families will be granted free admission to each of the Telfair's three sites - the Telfair Academy, the Owens-Thomas House and the Jepson Center for the Arts. Please bring military or veteran ID.

Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, beverages and Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be served from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or while supplies last.

Located in the heart of Savannah's historic district, the Telfair Museum of Art is the oldest public art museum in the South. It is comprised of two National Historic Landmark Buildings - the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Owens-Thomas House - and the contemporary Jepson Center for the Arts. With three unique buildings housing three distinct collections, the Telfair bridges three centuries of art and architecture.
