The Gathering at Geechee Kunda

It's time, once again, for The Gathering at Geechee Kunda, the Gullah Geechee Museum and Cultural Center for Georgia, southern South Carolina, and northeast Florida, near Riceboro.
The annual homecoming will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 19, on the grounds of Geechee Kunda.
"Learn about 'we' and the holy land for African America and Gullah Geechee people at The Gathering," center founder Jim Bacote sai.
Performances will begin at noon and end at 5 p.m.  
Exhibits, presentations and lectures will begin at 10 a.m. History and folklore tours will be offered.
A folklore tour will be start at the end of The Gathering because "the haants, plat eyes, etc. will be visited," Bacote said. "It will not be at deep dusk, plat-eye prowl or hag hollerin' time so you don't have to worry. The sun will still be out."
