Downtown Hinesville's Bradwell Park will come alive with a calypso rhythm and the smooth sound of steel drums at a "Lunchtime Concert in the Park" on Thursday, July 10.
The 73rd Army National Guard Band from the U.S. Virgin Islands will take a break from their annual training scheduled on Fort Stewart from June 29-July 12 to share their island music with the community.
The 32-member unit representing both St. Thomas and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, consists of three ensembles including a concert band, calypso combo and steel band ensemble.
