Windhaven haunted again for Halloween

For 12 years, neighbors Monica and Jim Doering and Adna and Gaby Chaffee have hosted one of the biggest free Halloween Haunted House events in Hinesville and this year was no different.
More than 250 residents from across Liberty County made their way to the Windhaven subdivision to walk through a haunted house that featured men in masks, witches, boiling bones and much more.
Unfortunately, the ghosts and ghouls had to go home early “due to some commotion down the street, involving some fighting amongst kids,” the Doerings and Chaffees said in a joint statement.
“It’s a shame that others have to ruin the fun for the ones who look forward to this holiday fun,” the statement continued. “Hopefully, next year we can continue the fun.”
