Navy Airman Apprentice Cody L. Murray, son of Luanna I. Murray of Lagrange and William A. Murray of Ludowici, recently was promoted to his current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
Murray received the early promotion for outstanding performance during all phases of the training cycle.
Murray is a 2008 graduate of Lagrange High School in Lagrange.

Sammons graduates from basic
Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Ricky L. Sammons graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Martishcia Sammons of Hinesville.


Carter graduates from basic
Air Force Airman 1st Class Danielle S. Carter graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
She is the daughter of Frederick Carter of Columbus and Mary Carter of Hinesville.
Carter graduated in 2004 from Shaw High School in Columbus and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2009 from Fort Valley State University.
