TABLETOPS Everyone has their favorite Thanksgiving side dish.

For me, its all about the rolls. Whether theyre crescent or buttered, pretzel or in breadstick form, I look forward to eating my fill of carby goodness every time Thanksgiving dinner rolls around.

Some people are loyal to green bean casserole. Others save their appetite for pumpkin pie. The occasional weirdo demands that Brussels sprouts be present at their Thanksgiving feast.

It turns out that one popular Turkey Day dish is more than a little controversial: yams.
