The Liberty Theatre Company, formed by the Hinesville Area Arts Council, made a $500 donation to the Dorchester Civic Center, Inc. on May 3 as a way to thank the center and its board for allowing the company to stage its recent production, “Vanities,” at the restored school.
In the past year, the Liberty Theatre Company also performed two one-act plays and a Christmas show, which garnered praise from the community and drew large audiences. The company has a full production schedule for 2010-11.
