Vendors being sought for Earth Day

The Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Keep Liberty Beautiful are recruiting vendors for the 10th annual Earth Day Celebration.

Organizations and businesses are invited to be a part of this family friendly event, which drew more than 1,100 registered participants last year. Vendors may host prepared exhibits, games or crafts that only need manpower or bring their own activities and supplies. Organizations are also encouraged to be sponsors.

“This annual event is our way of providing needed environmental education for our community in a fun way,” Keep Liberty Beautiful Director Sara Swida said. “We wouldn’t be able to make this possible without over 175 of our wonderful volunteers from local groups and businesses that host all the activities.”

The celebration is from 3:30-6:30 p.m. April 22 at the YMCA soccer fields on Mary Lou Drive in Hinesville.

Eventgoers will enjoy door prizes, crafts, games and activities focused on environmental education. For more information or to register as a vendor or sponsor, contact KLB at 912-880-4888 or klcb@coastalnow.net.
