LeConte-Woodmanston Botanical Garden hosted a workday Oct. 30. Twenty-five people turned out throughout the day to help, and Matilda Riles from First African Baptist Church and the Dorchester Academy Foundation provided sack lunches for everyone. Georgia Nuggets from Glennville donated mulch for the project. Volunteers were from Richmond Hill Garden Club, Bryan and Liberty County Master Gardeners Association, LeConte-Woodmanston Board members and Bryan and Liberty County extension agents David Moulder and Robert Bell, respectively.
