Association of the United States Army Vice President of Membership Services Gaby Howard said the group’s first public forum last month at Bryant Commons was a success.
The public event focused on the essentials of home buying.
Howard said about 50 people heard from several guest speakers. She said AUSA Marne Chapter Vice President Jonathan King welcomed guests and introduced the presenters.
Representatives from Coldwell Bankers gave home buying tips. Folks from Dryden Enterprises talked about building a home, and subdivisions with new homes on the market.
Howard said the public learned about home inspections and loan options. She added attorneys from Flowers and Gaskin Attorneys at Law talked about closings.

The audience also learned about the services and benefits for AUSA members. Howard said Claude Dryden sponsored the lunch, which was catered by Chik-fil-A.
