Liberty County EMA advises residents to be prepared for heavy rainfall today and tonight, and flooding in some low-lying areas:

Showers and a few thunderstorms will impact the coastal counties of Southeast Georgia today. There is a risk for locally heavy rainfall. The ground remains saturated from recent heavy rainfall. Any additional heavy rains could lead to minor flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas. Isolated flash flooding is also possible. Be prepared to take action should flooding be observed or if a warning is issued for your area.

On the bright side… from tomorrow, Tuesday, through Sunday, the probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
