Liberty County Chamber of Commerce/CVB CEO Leah Poole informed the Courier this morning of a potential scam caller. This caller has reportedly been calling local businesses on behalf of the chamber and local law enforcement, asking for merchants to purchase ad space.

Poole urges residents who might have received a suspicious call, to refrain from giving out banking or credit card information to such a caller. Residents should also report these calls to local law enforcement.
