The Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, in partnership with Zum Rosenhof German restaurant, will host the first Second Saturday Block Party from 5-9 p.m. Saturday.
Guests may buy beverages from Zum Rosenhof and enjoy a variety of food vendors, as well as live music in Bradwell Park, and in Midway and Commerce streets.
“HDDA approached us about the block party,” Zum Rosenhof co-owner David Hinze said.
Hinze and his wife, Anka, opened the restaurant 12 years ago. “We thought it would be good for the community and will give people something to enjoy downtown so they can get to know Hinesville a little better. We hope for a good turnout and hope this is something we can do on a regular basis.”
