Bradwell Institute’s principal has stepped down after less than a year on the job, a press release from the Liberty County School System said.

Here’s what the release said:

Alvin Williams has stepped down from his role as Principal at Bradwell Institute, citing personal reasons, after serving in the position for less than one year.

Superintendent, Dr. Franklin Perry said, “We appreciate the service Mr. Williams gave to Bradwell Institute and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

Dr. Zheadric Barbra, Deputy Superintendent, will serve as the Interim Principal until a replacement is hired. Dr. Barbra brings a wealth of experience to the school, having served successfully in several leadership roles to include Middle School Assistant Principal and Principal.

He will serve to support the Bradwell students, staff, and parents during this time of transition as the course is set for a permanent replacement. Central Office resources will be on standby to support the efforts of Dr. Barbra and the Bradwell Leadership Team. Dr. Perry would like to thank staff, students and parents for their support during this transition.
