BoE honors maintenance, grounds crews

The Liberty County Board of Education on Sept. 13 recognized the maintenance and operations department and the grounds crew during a BoE meeting.
The system regularly recognizes the outstanding achievements of teachers, students, staff and parents during the school year but wanted to pay special tribute to the individuals who keep things running smoothly and make the schools’ landscapes a source of pride.
The board of education already has won two Win-dex Awards from Keep Liberty Beautiful for its well-kept grounds.
