The Long County Chamber of Commerce recently held its quarterly Business After Hours event at the Candy Nook, one of Ludowici’s newest businesses.
Chamber president Don Melton welcomed the crowd of about 40 and then told them of the upcoming activities. He said the Wildlife Festival will be Oct. 11 at the festival grounds, the Progress Through People Breakfast will be Oct. 14 at the Compass Worship Center, the Fear Not Festival is Oct. 30 at Coastal Manor Long-Term Center, and the Trunk or Treat will be Oct. 31 at Smiley Elementary School.
Melton said that December events include the Christmas-tree lighting, which will be Dec. 4 at the Ludowici Well Pavilion; the Christmas Banquet will be Dec. 11 at Ludowici First Baptist Church; and the Christmas parade will be Dec. 13.
