The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held its annual Membership Appreciation Low Country Boil and Oyster Roast for members Friday at Bryant Commons in Hinesville. The event was presented by Ameris Bank.

With almost 200 attending, the ShellHouse Seafood Restaurant was on-site to prepare dinner for Chamber members, making sure to keep everyone full of oysters and the traditional fixings in a low-country boil.

Members enjoyed live music from Dakota Woods and Sterling Martin, as well as saxophonist Bernard Rose. Martin Audio Production also provided other music throughout the course of the evening.

Chamber members had the opportunity to mix and mingle with one another as well as be recognized by the Chamber for their continued support.

Sponsors for the event were: Yates-Astro; Jimmy & Brigitte Shanken, Coldwell Banker Holtzman, Realtors; Canoochee EMC; Hargray; Savannah Technical College; and Liberty Regional Medical Center.

“This is always one of our favorite events of the year,” Chamber CEO Leah Poole said. “It’s a nice way to meet and mingle with one another in a relaxed and informal setting.”

She added that without the sponsors, the events the Chamber hosts would not be possible.
