SAVANNAH — The U.S. Small Business Administration recently ranked The Coastal Bank in the top 20 SBA 7(a) lenders in Georgia.
These loans are awarded to small businesses to establish a new company or to assist in the acquisition, operation or expansion of an existing business.
In fiscal year 2013, The Coastal Bank administered 13 SBA 7(a) loans totaling more than $11.3 million.
“We support small business in the communities we serve by exploring various options and tailoring products and services to meet their strategic goals,” said Pam Parker, senior vice president and commercial-banking division manager at The Coastal Bank. “We’re committed to helping our commercial clients and community businesses succeed.”
The bank has offices in Hinesville, Savannah, Pooler and Rincon.
