County gets $400,000 grant for jobs

Liberty County recently received an Employment Incentive Program grant of $417,286 from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for infrastructure associated with the construction of the Firth Rixson Forgings LLC facility that initially will create 204 jobs in Tradeport East Business Center.
Firth Rixson is a United Kingdom-based manufacturer of forged metal products for the aerospace industry.
