The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce recently moved Lisa Davis to the position of membership director.
Davis will be in charge of visits and calls from current or potential members, organizing and informing the Ambassador Program, informing members of sponsorship and marketing opportunities, introducing members to one another and membership development.
“Lisa has been a huge asset to our team here at the chamber for the past year. I believe she’ll do a great job at taking over the membership side of things and help us to bring in new and different types of businesses to keep our members diverse and useful to one another,” chamber CEO Leah Poole said.
Davis, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, graduated from of the University of Mississippi with a degree in marketing and has an extensive background in sales. She is married to a U.S. Army soldier, has three children and has been a resident of the area since December 2012.
“I am thrilled to make the transition to the membership director and have the opportunity to assist the business community,” Davis said.
