The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host the Liberty County Development Authority at the Progress Through People Luncheon at noon Thursday, Jan. 30, the Liberty County Performing Arts Center in Flemington.

The LCDA was created in 1958 to create and enhance economic growth and development of Liberty County. The LCDA has developed industrial parks, constructed shell buildings, supported local technical-college and workforce-development programs to include the Liberty College & Career Academy and organized and led partnerships with other public and private entities.
