ESG Operations, Hinesville’s public works contractor, had an open house and the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce organized a ribbon cutting for the business on April 20 at its headquarters 613 E.G Miles Parkway, Hinesville.

Chamber/CVB CEO Leah Poole introduced Ray Richard, ESG project director. Chamber board member Leigh Smiley thanked Richard for sponsoring the April Progress Through People Luncheon. And Hinesville Mayor Allen Brown welcomed Richard to the city, saying ESG has been doing good work under his leadership.

"[ESG] was started by two guys, two pickup trucks and two lap tops. Today, we are about 800 employees strong all over the southeast part of the United States, mostly in Georgia. We have [approximately] 18 projects in the state of Georgia," Richard said. "We’re happy to be here and thank you for the opportunity."

ESG Operations is a utility management company, specializing in water and wastewater management, public works, design-build-operating and operational consulting. The city selected ESG as its city services partner under a public works, utilities operations and maintenance contract.
