The Hinesville Downtown Farmers Market is accepting vendor applications for the 2014 season.
Fresh local produce, agricultural/farm items, flowers and plants, baked goods, specialty foods, prepared foods and original crafts will be featured at the market.
The market is held in Bradwell Park/Commerce Street across from city hall in downtown Hinesville. The market runs from
4-7 p.m. each Thursday from May through October.
The spring market is March through April, and the fall market is in November as an optional, free bonus to all seasonal vendors.
Vendors can do early bird registration by Feb. 14 to receive a reduced seasonal fee of $200 for general vendors and $300 for prepared-food vendors. The regular seasonal fee is $250 for general vendors and $350 for prepared-food vendors. Vendors also can participate for $20 per week or monthly for $60.
“Goals for the 2014 season include growing our product selection with dairy products, seafood, meats and certified organic produce,” Farmers Market manager Patrick Farace said.
Entertainment proposals and nonprofit applications also are being accepted.
