Larry Golden, CPA and owner of Golden and Associates, will discuss tax credits and benefits for first-time home buyers. Christy Swindell of The Coastal Banks’ mortgage division will discuss the mortgage process, and Jeffrey Osteen of Jones, Osteen & Jones law firm will discuss the settlement and closing process.
The event is intended to promote homeownership, especially for first-time buyers and with mortgage rates at historic lows and the possibility of an $ 8,000 tax credit to file on their 2010 tax returns. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided.
