How business-friendly is Liberty?

In an effort to make Liberty County and its municipalities more business-friendly, the Liberty Consolidated Planning Commission is inviting the public to participate in a survey to provide input on how easy it is to establish a business locally.

This initiative came out of the 2015 Countywide Planning Workshop in response to the expressed desire of local officials to make Liberty County and its cities a place where businesses can thrive.

LCPC Executive Director Jeff Ricketson said the survey provides an opportunity for businesspeople and residents to provide local officials with feedback on the process of permitting, building and licensing a new or existing business in Liberty County.

The online survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is available through Nov. 20 at www.thelcpc.org. Printed copies of the survey are available at the LCPC offices on the second floor of the Liberty County Historic Courthouse, 100 Main St. in Hinesville.
